Key Performance Area:


  • Monitor work progress against the programme through weekly production and cost meetings with all the relevant staff members.
  • Liaise with General Foreman, Foreman and Contract Manager regarding production requirements.
  • Monitor production and allowable targets, initiating corrective action where these are not being met, in conjunction with the Contract Manager.
  • Manage, supervise and inspect contractors' work on site.
  • Explain structural drawings to contractors.
  • Identify and mitigate for any delays that are due to errors or omissions on structural drawings.
  • Ensure appropriate safekeeping and distribution of related records.
  • Uphold the Company's contractual rights, as well as the Group policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compilation of the Quality Site Implementation File.
  • Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety Legislation and site rules.
  • Detect and analyse all nonconformances, communicate this to the Contract Manager and initiate corrective action.

Minimum Requirements:

***- Grade 1- Computer Literate.

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 years work experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Registered with or eligible for registration with SACPCMP.
  • Valid driver's license.
