Test Manager

A Test Manager is responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, managing test plans,

methodologies, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement testing strategies, test plans, and test cases
  • Lead a team of testers to ensure efficient and effective testing processes
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Coordinate testing activities with crossfunctional teams, including development, project
- management, and business stakeholders

  • Identify and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product requirements and business
- processes

  • Manage test environments and ensure they are maintained and available for testing activities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Monitor and report on testing progress, test coverage, and defect trends
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to testing team members
  • Keep uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in software testing

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with testing methodologies, test management tools, and automated testing
- frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience with test management tools, such as HP ALM, JIRA, or Quality Center.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA

Salary:
R57, R57,600.00 per month
