Description

DIY SALES CONSULTANT:

PURPOSE:

Executing and overseeing sales staff activity, attaining sales targets, solving customer
complaints, and assigning tasks to DIY Assistants.

DUTIES/CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. CUSTOMER SERVICE
Determine merchandise required by customer and suggest alternative and/or additional items related to the customers 'order.
Attend to walk-in customers and also attend to telephonic sales orders

Create Sales orders and Invoices
Receive the payment or obtain the credit information for the customers
Complete relevant schedules on a daily basis to reconcile payments received
Maintain counter area and guide the DIY Assistant/s on displays of merchandise in an orderly and attractive manner.

2. PROMOTIONS AND BOOSTING SALES
Field telephonic sales in respect of Cash Sales.
liaise with MANAGEMENT regarding possible stock shortages or customer requirements.
Keep abreast or up-to-date of new products information and up-coming product promotions
Plan and Initiate Promotions to boost sales for the Shop to reach and exceed monthly Targets
Execute your duties in accordance with the various company Policies and comply.

3. STOCK/MERCHANDISE
Stock control, routine stock checks, and quality control of material.

4. TEAM-WORK
Ensure that all staff is trained and have knowledge of the processes in the Cash Shop
Coach other junior employees and enforce good health and safety practice.
Meet and discuss with Management to correct and improve working.
