Description

A fast-growing group of companies operating in the Fleet Management and Hotel and Leisure industries are seeking to employ an OHS Intern to assist the OHS Manager.


The job will entail:

  • Carry out monthly, quaterly, and annual EHS inspections (Emergency equipment and premises).
  • Develop project Health & Safety files in line with customer requirements.
  • Assist when needed on customer project sites.
  • Carry out Planned Task Observations.
  • Assist in the conducting of Risk assessments and ensuring that control measures are implemented and adequate.
  • Take part in internal audits and incident investigations.
  • Participate in Quaterly SHE committe meetings.

Requirements:

National Diploma in Safety Management

1 year in a similiar job (Advantage)

Driver's Licence

Sound knowledge of the OHS Act


Pay:
R5 000,00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • OHS working: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's Licence (required)
  • SAMTRAC (required)
  • Incident Investigator certificate (required)
  • Risk Assessor certificate (required)
