Description

We are seeking a courteous and efficient Hotel Receptionist to join our team and provide outstanding customer service to our guests.

As the first point of contact for visitors, the Hotel Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet guests upon arrival, check them in/out, and provide assistance with luggage as needed.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately, using our reservation system.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, resolving any issues or concerns to their satisfaction.
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area, including stocking supplies, keeping brochures and promotional materials uptodate, and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that guest rooms are ready for arrivals and respond to any maintenance or cleanliness issues reported by guests.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports as needed.
  • Convey thorough room checks upon departure.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, experience with reservation and property management systems would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is preferred but not required; willingness to assist guests with recommendations and directions is essential.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
