Description

We are seeking a courteous and efficient Hotel Receptionist to join our team and provide outstanding customer service to our guests.

As the first point of contact for visitors, the Hotel Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival, check them in/out, and provide assistance with luggage as needed.
Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately, using our reservation system.
Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, resolving any issues or concerns to their satisfaction.
Maintain a neat and organized reception area, including stocking supplies, keeping brochures and promotional materials uptodate, and ensuring cleanliness.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure that guest rooms are ready for arrivals and respond to any maintenance or cleanliness issues reported by guests.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports as needed.
Convey thorough room checks upon departure.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in computer skills, experience with reservation and property management systems would be advantageous.
Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is preferred but not required; willingness to assist guests with recommendations and directions is essential.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
