Legal Practice Manager / Finance Manager
My client a well established law firm, is seeking to appoint a practice manager to be responsible the day-to-day running of the business.
Duties include as follows:
financial administration, including preparation of income statements, trial balances, and monthly management accounts;
payroll administration and management, including PAYE, UIF, SDL and leave;
banking, including trust account administration;
information technology;
human resources management;
administration and compliance, including SARS (income tax and VAT);
premises management;
managing the firm's audit and auditor;
B-BBEE status monitoring;
preparation of client statements and collections;
preparing monthly debtors' age analysis;
ad hoc queries from clients and staff; and
computer literacy (standard and specialist software - AJS).
Previous experience in a law firm is highly advantageous but not essential. Start ASAP.
