Requirements

  • Grade 1
  • Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Bookkeeping Diploma or similar qualification
  • Experience in a hospitality
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounting Package
  • Computer literate ( Office Package)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Be able to reconcile stock valuation
  • Debtors/Creditors
Description

  • Process high volume supplier invoice invoices into the system (Sage) accurately and timeously
  • Prepare supporting payment packs for review by Financial Manager
  • Monthly supplier recons
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Assist in collecting customer payments and reconciliations
  • Daily stock inventory journals for various departments
  • Assist in month end process including drafting of month end journals
  • Assist in external audit queries and data requests
  • Reconcile Credit Card, Cash and EFT control accounts
  • Process and reconcile petty cash accounts
  • Maintain a good filing system for easy access to historical records
  • Willing to stepin and assist the team when and where necessary
  • Compile monthly payroll data for Finance Manager
