Description
Requirements- Grade 1
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Bookkeeping Diploma or similar qualification
- Experience in a hospitality
- Knowledge of Sage Accounting Package
- Computer literate ( Office Package)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Be able to reconcile stock valuation
- Debtors/Creditors
- Process high volume supplier invoice invoices into the system (Sage) accurately and timeously
- Prepare supporting payment packs for review by Financial Manager
- Monthly supplier recons
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assist in collecting customer payments and reconciliations
- Daily stock inventory journals for various departments
- Assist in month end process including drafting of month end journals
- Assist in external audit queries and data requests
- Reconcile Credit Card, Cash and EFT control accounts
- Process and reconcile petty cash accounts
- Maintain a good filing system for easy access to historical records
- Willing to stepin and assist the team when and where necessary
- Compile monthly payroll data for Finance Manager
