The Role

The Data Analyst will be responsible for assisting the RTT Distribution Sales team in various customer costing simulations, KPI Reporting and general sales administrational duties.


Skills and Experience Minimum**:


  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of business and logistics principles involved in planning, resource allocation, and coordination of drivers and resources
  • Mathematical and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Sales oriented and target driven

Key Accountabilities

  • Translate, merge, clean and/or map data into conceptual, logical and physical data models
  • Simulate Costing based on the requested rate card delivering analytical insights to the sales team.
  • Complete Monthly conformance reports.
  • Complete Monthly Sales Presentations.
  • Initiate and assist the sales team with contract renewals 3 months in advance
  • Data presentation designed to demonstrate conclusions gained from analysing data
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports

  • Problem Solving Ability — Identifying problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Ability to effectively communicate and translate analytics for broader audiences in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs.

Other Minimum**:


  • Grade 1
  • Tertiary education/ studying towards a degree in Supply Chain Management will be an advantage
  • BCom Supply Chain Management
  • Computer Literate ( MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook )
