What We'll Bring:

You will develop and execute product development in the role of a Product Owner for allocated product projects.

You will be responsible for managing the crucial interface between business, product and information technology in terms of strategic initiatives and product development.

Reviews product architecture against systems architecture to optimize solution capabilities. Collects demands from customers to support product prioritization via STAR process.

Facilitates JAD sessions on new product ideas; writes business specs of new products and product improvements (in cooperation with IT) following directions from PO/PM.

Perform tests and validation of new products and new features.


You will be required to provide direction and guidance to achieve project requirements within specified timelines and quality in order to deliver and execute against the project plan.

You will serve as a key link to better enable and connect Sales, ADS and delivery teams to drive product adoption and utilization to deliver long-term results.


What You'll Bring:


  • Able to work through all phases of the product development process concepts through production
  • Ability to provide thought leadership on business cases, architecture alignment, and delivery approach that influences strategic product roadmap(s) development.
  • Success in working with crossfunctional teams and influence across a matrix organisation to productively drive consensus, develop and deliver customer solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and business stakeholders to refine the Program Increment (PI) feature backlog, support strategic planning efforts, and execute tactical activities.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing, validate if user stories meet the Definition of Done, and accept stories as 'Done'.
  • Shepherd product customization and enhancement projects from concept initiation through product delivery engaging crossfunctional teams including architecture, engineering, legal & compliance, line of businesses, product marketing, partners, sales and operations.
  • Develop product documentation and maintain training materials for new products and new features.
  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, and the product and development teams to build and execute implementation plans for new features and products.
  • Support Product Managers to ensure user requirements, business specs for new strategic products / solutions (incl. channels) are well articulated and understood by IT (incl. PM/BA); facilitate JAD sessions; support development of robust business cases and GTM plans
  • Support Product Managers with new concept feasibility tests
  • Work with IT to specify and deliver Proofs of Concept for new products / channels and solutions, ideally with pilot clients, including PoC design and development, PoC delivery and PoC review and feasibility evaluation
  • Triage feedback from stakeholders, prioritize them and work with development teams to resolve any issues arising from newly released products and features.
  • Act as a key part of the Scrum team as the Product Owner.
  • Display an understanding of the product, ability to work with technical and nontechnical staff, and enthusiasm in planning, communicating, and tracking a tactical approach to meet the team's commitments.
  • Manage the product development queue and process; sizing, compliance approval, prioritization, etc.
  • Ensure all solutions are on track for final delivery and meet client's overall expectations while maintaining TU's brand as a leading solutions risk provider.
  • Get closer to customers and stakeholders to further engage them in ideation and product development/validation.
  • Responsible for execution of product development roadmaps for projects allocated to you.
  • Implement and maintain all compliance requirements as it relates to the projects you are allocated to support.

Impact You'll Make:


  • This position requires a tertiary degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience relating to product development (End to End), product management or business information systems. The individual must display business maturity, leadership skills, analytic ability and strong communication skills. Demonstrated consultancy skills and success in understanding and explaining complex integrated solutions, consistently achieving success in innovating and delivering solutions in this industry.
  • Excellent presentation abilities and the ability to explain complex concepts and solutions in a simplified but persuasive way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge business and technical environments, and ability to build professional relationships.
  • Understanding of end user workflows and ability to align stakeholders on workflow requirements.
