A medium-sized audit and accounting firm based in Stellenbosch is offering an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior to join their team.


The position is primarily responsible for the overall management of audits performed, management and mentoring of trainee accountants and providing assistance to Directors.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Plan and manage audits: prepare audit budget, oversee auditing work, manage the workinprogress to align with the budget, and finalise audits.
  • Draft financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting framework.
  • Calculate tax efficient structure for clients, as well as provisional and annual taxes.
  • Manage various client portfolios and identify opportunities for crossselling of other services.
  • Team management: allocate work to accounting trainees, provide onthejob training, review trainee accountants work and provide feedback.
  • Maintain own productivity to the expected standard.

Qualifications and experience:


  • BAcc (Hons)/CTA. (negotiable)
  • Completed SAICA article ( non negotiable)
  • One year of postarticle experience is preferred.

Remuneration:


  • R300,000 to R400,000 per annum

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
R25, R30,000.00 per month
