Description
Perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis on various samples, including record keeping

  • Analytical support to customer and service staff in an accurate and usable manner
  • Maintain and/or arrange for maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, Preventative maintenance of dosing equipment.
  • Familiarize oneself with the laboratory safety requirements and operate the laboratory in accordance with this practice and proper Housekeeping principles
  • Responsible for chemical dosing and optimization of all treatment programs
  • Trouble shooting systems such as cooling towers, boilers, filters and ion exchange systems.
  • Customer interaction and feedback

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Grade 1
  • National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in the following:
  • Boiler / Cooling Eflluent Water Treatment
  • Sampling, Testing & Reporting
  • General & Specific Laboratory Work
  • Computer Skills (Microsoft office
  • Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Own Transport will be advantageous, will be reimbursed for travel
