Description
We are urgently looking for a Payroll Clerk/Bookkeeper to start as soon as possible.


Qualification & Requirements;

  • Higher Certificate or relevant qualification in Payroll or Accounting
  • 3+ years' experience in Payroll
  • 2 years Book Keeping experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with general accounting and payroll principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Must be deadline driven

Duties & Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following;

  • Management of employee data, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets, capturing of wages/salaries and ensure employees are paid on time
  • Record and maintain company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts and daily financial entries and reconciliations
  • Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries and record payments and adjustments
  • Prepare and issue statements and invoices, and maintain records
  • Prepare reports that include summaries of earnings/revenue, tax deductions and leave
  • Coordinate with recruitment consultants to ensure correct employee data
  • Maintaining employee records; ensuring that employee changes are entered on time and correctly
  • Provide information and answer payroll related questions
  • Investigate and resolve and discrepancies in payroll
  • Ensure payroll processes are followed in line with audit requirements
