Role Purpose/Business Unit:


Loyalty Program Engagement Lead will provide directives to markets enabling monetisation of the Loyalty platform in line with organisational KPIs, whilst delivering increased value to the customer.

The incumbent will ensure efficiencies and results-orientated coordination of all Loyalty initiatives, thereby yielding increased engagement, retention, and revenue stimulation with a deep focus on prioritised strategic Group and market objectives.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Drive the adoption and monetisaton of the Vodacom Group Loyalty platform
  • Ensure deep integration of Loyalty, CVM & Big Data across all Opcos to support personalised customer experiences on engagement, valuebased core product offers and rewards presentation, whilst managing dilution;
  • Prioritise key focus areas and leverage the Loyalty platform to drive strategic objectives across the Opcos; revenue, retention, engagement, new channel adoption & multiproduct uptake and market share;
  • Develop and ensure adoption by the Opcos of a governance framework (modelling, rules and logic) for ongoing operational programme management (rewards allocation, budget management, VodaBucks liability etc.);
  • Design pricing framework for personalised valuebased core product offering where VodaBucks (loyalty points) are used as a currency.
  • Experiment with multiple approaches to solve for any challenges, and to ensure ongoing programme improvement; and
  • Partner as a consulting member of campaign delivery teams, including but not limited to annual Summer campaigns
  • BSc. in Engineering/Computer Science/Economics and/or MBA
- +8 years' experience in CVM within the Telecommunications and/or Banking sectors

  • Experiance with Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), SQL, and/or Business Intelligence
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
