Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic team in Durban.
***-
Perform daily (routine & non-routine) analysis to ensure optimum conditions for Plating solutions (through or mainly Wet analysis & Hull cells)

Effluent treatment & testing.
***:
-
Data interpretation & report to the Plant (Group Leaders or Plant Engineers)
***:
-
Corrective actions in case of any deviations from the specification.
***:
-
Data capturing & Graphs (upkeep of all Lab records)
***:
-
Stock balancing & orders (Lab reagents)
***:
-
Maintain housekeeping in the Laboratory
***:
-
Help with trouble shooting and any problems encountered with process
***:
-
Keep all records up to date, update graphs.
***-
Perform any reasonable task as required by the manager
***:

Engage in Kaizen activities
***:
-
Assist in PFMEA and Process control plan documents
***:
-
Support on plant improvement projects.
***:
-
Complying with Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental laws & regulations.

Job Requirements:***-
Matric certificate and S4 in Analytical Chemistry or National diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
***:
-
1 year Laboratory and Plating plant experience.
***:
-
Plating on non-conductors will be an advantage.
