Our client in the manufacturing sector, has an EE opportunity available for a Field Service Mechanic (Mobile Cranes Mechanic).Requirements:
- Matriculation Certificate or N
- Valid Driver's licence
- Formal SAQA accredited qualification as a diesel mechanic
- 5 years exposure and proven track record working on
mobile cranes and trucks: - Proven track record in fault finding and repairs on
mobile cranes and trucks: - Engine repairs
- Gearbox repairs
- Hydraulic repairs
KPAs:
- Undertake vehicle inspections and checks
- Diagnose and fault finding as per the job card instructions
- Identify parts to be replaced and/or repaired
- Submit parts and consumables requisition to supervisor
- Fix and fit parts and consumables as required
- Ensure that work quality is consistent with prescribed
- Conform with the departments job card procedure i.e. labour, kilometres, travelling, buyouts, stores issues or sundries processing
