Description

Our client, an independent hospital who has provided health care services in Kwa-Zulu Natal based in Stanger is looking to recruit a Nursing Manager who will be responsible to manage the entire patient care nursing process, achieving determined levels of quality care and standards of service in the most cost-efficient manner and within agreed budgets.

This position reports to the Hospital Manager.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Professional Registration
Current registration with SA Nursing Council as Professional Nurse
Academic Qualifications
BCur or Relevant Nursing Diploma/Degree
Degree/Diploma in Nursing Management or Nursing Education.
Experience
Minimum 5 years mixed specialty nursing experience i.e ICU/ED
Minimum 5 years in a Line Management or Leadership position.
Minimum 5 years' private hospital experience
Patient care
Productivity
Financial management
Staffing management
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
Management reporting
Labour relations
Asset management
Management process
