Description

Kendrick Recruitment is looking for a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Liaison Officer in the picturesque city of Cape Town.

The Guest Liaison Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all guests have an exceptional experience during their stay by delivering personalized service, resolving guest inquiries and concerns and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Greet all guests upon arrival and departure and assist with checkin and checkout procedures.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions and events in the Cape Town area.
  • Coordinate guest requests, such as room service, transportation and special arrangements and ensure they are fulfilled.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs, providing personalized service to enhance their overall experience.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update profiles in the hotel management system.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in compliance with hotel policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Assist with special events and promotions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to handle guest complaints and enquiries professionally and effectively.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required by the hotel.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Salary:

R R per month, depending on qualifications and experience including benefits as per company policy.
